Prostate Cancer Screenings

There is no clear recommendation on whether or not men should be screened for prostate cancer. Each man needs to learn the facts about prostate cancer, learn about available screening tests, talk to his doctor, and decide for himself. This is called informed decision making.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) have created decision making guides to help men decide whether or not they should be screened for prostate cancer.
